The Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs and Seattle Office of Economic Development are hosting a virtual Know Your Rights Training for business owners and employers on
Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 2:00 – 4:00 pm
This training is designed to inform business owners and employers about how to ensure compliance with existing immigration regulations and how to protect workplace. The guest speakers are immigration attorney, Diane Butler from Davis Wright Tremaine, and American Business Immigration Coalition.
The training will cover:
- Form I-9s audits
- Social Security’s No Match Letters
- Your rights and responsibilities in the event of immigration enforcement action (ICE Raids)
- Best practices to prepare for emergency and workplace safety
A Q&A session will follow the presentation to address any questions or concerns. Please note that the training will be conducted in English.
